Form and colour

I appear to be blipping rather a lot of flowers at the moment, which for me can equal a bit of a cop out.  I guess it's that time of year.

This is a peony which grows beside my front door.  It's the commonest crimson one, which I absolutely love.  I do, though, find it very hard to blip, like dark red camellias.  Has that ever happened to you?  You want to show the colour but then lose the form and find the result a mess of saturated reds.  

But I did quite like this and tomorrow, I will try again to see if I can do any better with colour.
