No More Darkness, No More Stars

The white nights have now arrived. This picture is taken at about half past midnight and this is as dark as it gets in mid-Sweden when the sky is clear.
For the next month, until Midsummer, it will get lighter and lighter, and then for  another month it will start to get darker until it is back at this point.
It’s been a couple of weeks since we saw any stars and we won’t be seeing them again until August.  There are still a couple of bright points in the sky but they are actually Jupiter and Venus. The extra photo shows Jupiter, above our neighbours' house.
