Living postcard

As I sit with my gammy leg up at the window, I spot all kinds of boats, ferries, tankers and yachts go past. It is like a living postcard.

I also sat glued to the Jubilee celebrations which I think have been just marvellous. I am so proud to be a citizen of this great nation....

I went out for a lovely coffee with Rosie today - and it was so great to see her and to catch up again. We sat outside at a wee Italian cafe which was so good to get some fresh air. It is always refreshing to chat to a good pal and hear some of my own thoughts!!

My leg is very sore indeed and has meant that I can't drive home today. I will need to go back to the hospital tomorrow to get it checked out - and hopefully by then it will have eased. Oh dear - not the best time of year for me to be off work!
