Frankfurt Skyscrapers

One of the things we all noticed about Frankfurt was the hugely different architecture in such a small area. Even in a single street there are old traditional buildings next door to brand new modern skyscrapers. This photo was taken from the Eiserner Steg (Iron Bridge) looking towards the city with it's huge skyscrapers. The Eiserner Steg was covered in love locks and we all found a geocache there. It was a fun cache to do. We had to find a specific lock amongst the thousands. Luckily the co-ordinates were bang on so we only had a small section of the bridge to check. After walking over the bridge we went into the picture postcard Römer area which had been reconstructed after the war before continuing our wander round the town then hopped onto an open topped bus which took us up to the Natural History museum where we saw a t-rex!
