A day when FIFA balls are all up in the air .... quelle surprise!

I blipped this in one of the shops on Portobello High Street in the rain this afternoon. Friends in Wiltshire are off to a barbecue this evening. It is chilly enough here to think about putting the heating back on, yet again!

I was working in town this morning and from home this afternoon after visiting my Polish hairdresser. I was fascinated to learn from her that she was able to vote in the Republic of Poland's Presidential Elections  on Sunday - online. I wonder how long we will have to wait until we can do that.  Blipper ArcLight has written a fascinating piece on the wider issues of EU engagement.
