Beautiful Iris

A bright, sunny day with a light breeze.

Oh dear, some of you may not like this but this is a day of watching sport for me. Andy Murray had a great match in Paris, the Scottish Cup Final is about to start and the English FA Cup Final will follow!

Still, I managed to get a blip, from a neighbour's garden, of this beautiful Iris. I do like the light and dark, and the contrast of the blue and yellow. Irises always make me think of my Mum, who died over 24 years ago, because she had them in her garden.

My son and his family are far fitter than me - he and his wife are running in the Edinburgh Half-Marathon tomorrow and his younger daughter is running in the 2K race today. Best wishes to them all.
