All the Fun of the Fair- part 2

After the debacle of yesterday's gale force winds forcing the cancellation of the Meadows Fair, today dawned sunny with lighter winds prompting the emergence of stall holders and their wares.

We walked home from our Sunday toast odyssey as the stalls were being set up. There seemed a preponderance of tat, the kind of items that we have spent getting rid of over the years, single teacups, plates , cutlery and cheap ornaments.

This stall caught my eye with the pristine hardly used chanty and potty sitting beside two tin helmets. I'm sure there is the making of a story there. If not a story then unusual receptacles for plants, although they could of course be put to their original use.
