Desperate Dan

Grocery shopping today, followed by an interesting logistical juggle getting to M&S to use some vouchers to buy a top for Apothecary7. Sainsburys first then we drove to Gallagher retail park by City Quay. We wanted to have a walk with Maeve the Deerhound and get to both the M&S Simply Food and the M&S in Dundee.

We first made the mistake of forgetting M&S (clothes) doesn't open until 11am, and having walked there we had to come back to the car so we could take Maeve for a walk up to the Howff. On the way back I grabbed a shot of Desperate Dan striding across the front of City Square with The Caird Hall as backdrop when the street was quiet and no one was paying him any attention. We put Maeve back in the car, walked up to M&S (clothes), got the top, walked to the Simply Food (which we like better than the food dept in the main shop) , then went back to the car and drove home. At times like these having a dog which goes almost everywhere can be a palaver!

After lunch I watered all the greenhouse plants, sowed a couple of pots of salad leaves, and planted out the rest of the Sunflowers in a border in the back garden. The wind has rather battered the ones already in place so we can only hope they make a recovery.
