Extra's..
..well, the wiper motor I ordered originally back in mid May, and cancelled, and re-ordered, and cancelled, and ordered from somewhere else yesterday around 13:00 arrived today at 10:30. By 10:50, it was on the car and everything working wonderfully.. Now that's what I call service, both by the seller, and by the Royal Mail. (I can't believe George Osbourne is selling this off cheap, and the country is letting him).
Went down the croft And pulled the last of last years brassicas. Back up to the house, and threw some into the hens. Selected some for Laina's rabbits. Tooke the box off the tractor, and put the plough on. Went down to N's patch that I'd sprayed off a while ago and turned it over. The patch is very sandy in places, the wheels of the tractor sinking in. It didn't do a very good job, but it was lifted and turned over..
Back to the house to drop the plough off, and down to H's to get the rotorvator. Rotorvated my ex cabbage patch, and a few other bits, and the new patch up the slope. Then did N's patch twice.. It just needs to be consolidated a bit now, and I can sow some swede for him with the drill..
Bottled some beer..
Slightly overcast, but dry!!..
You can see N's patch on the left at the bottom. My lower patches, the fruit patch just under Tanni, my brassicas (under fleeces), and A's patch to the right with his new polytunnel..
