Lights, Camera, Action
More filming was going on at the Institute today. This time it was someone from Zee TV and two cameramen who got up close and personal in the practice hall. Everyone carried on as if they weren't there, though I did stop to adjust my bloomers now and then.
This is a picture a fellow student took of Geeta while she was being interviewed. (Since I didn't take the photo, please don't pass it on to anyone, if that's even possible.) The light is lovely on her sparkling white sari.
She was in fine form in our morning class and taught a nice forward-bending sequence. We practiced Sirsasana (head stand) in a novel way: she said we should take a minute and a half to SLOWLY come down from the pose. She said, when you get shaky, stop and find out why. Oy! I knew why I was shaky. It's hard to defy gravity for 90 seconds!
I also stayed to watch the medical class. If you care to see what that's like, check out this link. Abhi does a great job narrating this 11-minute video.
