Evening sun

Today we experienced the first of our summer ish days of the year today.

It was glorious in the cool sunshine, with the promise of all the summer brings.

Perhaps it was just because I was by the seaside in Banff (albeit for a relatively dull meeting), or perhaps it was to do with the fact that I've just completed a large task at work, or maybe just because I'm tinkering around the ends of the plans for our European camping adventure but actually if I'm honest I don't think it is any of those things.. I think the spring in my step is mainly because it's ten to nine at night and I'm walking up to the swimming pool in the beautiful sunshine, in my shorts.
