Plan for escape

Theres talk today of getting willow home! She was in now for feeding and growing (breathing all good) and I've become increasingly convinced that
Willow isn't capable of feeding. It's hard work for any baby, and poor willow isn't just working against her tiny lungs, but she actually needs more calories than your average baby to repair. So I've been pushing for Home with a feeding ( NG) tube in. Today there was a meeting between me, the head nurse, the feeding advisor, a consultant and a dietician. Plan is to get her Home with some breastfeeding and extra high calorie infant formula down her tube.

We have to learn to pass her tube through her nose and she needs some more tests, but we should get her home sometimr next week!
