at home with an Ivysaurus

The reality of newborn parenting...

You never get your tea whilst it's hot....

Heat wave finally broke today, hospital room is at last a reasonable temperature.

Willow and briar have both been creating piles and piles of laundry. Willow doesn't seem to be tolerating her new milk (extra extra high calorie) very well and is being sick after tube feeds even when she hasn't breastfed before. Dietician is back on Monday so hopefully she'll have an idea.

Euan had a go at inserting willows feeding tube himself today, my turn tomorrow. Dreading it - it's like some sort of torture. I'm sure I'll get used to it - as Euan's said its not much worse than we used to basically force feed 'top ups' into ivy with a syringe.
