Henry's Garden

I finally got round to putting in my bedding plants today which means that Henry is no longer sitting in the middle of an empty (or occasionally weedy) patch. I think he looks quite pleased with them.

I also cleaned out and refilled the bird bath and was rewarded by a constant stream of blackbirds, wood pigeons, starlings, sparrows and even a blue tit having baths; must have been nice for them as it has been a really hot day. There was so much splashing going on I had to refill it three times and it's looking a bit depleted again now.

They've still not eaten their bird cake from yesterday. A rethink is definitely required.
