Poppy

Cycled from home across to Castle Howard this morning. Landscape shots had to be ruled out on the basis of too much haze.

As I chugged up the steep hill away from the estate I spotted a number of poppies at the edge of a field of oil seed rape. Couldn't resist having a closer look and paid the price with nettled legs.

Back home just in time for a coffee and a catch up with Stephen in Costa Rica.
