In fairness to these two Gentlemen they did try and be 'safe' with one holding the ladder but it might be best for all of us to learn how to check this equipment properly before utilising

Things to look for:

1. Stiles need to be in good condition
2. Do not use the ladder if stiles are bent or split as the ladder could collapse.
3. Check the feet
4. Do not use the ladder if feet are missing, worn or damaged as the ladder could slip.
5. Check the rungs
6. Do not use the ladder if rungs are bent, missing or loose as the ladder could become unstable

Regardless several very good points were made using said ladder so on this occasion the Health & Safety police shall turn a blind eye...
