Pink Grass?

Anyone know what type of grass this is?  The fields around Lamberhurst today were a beautiful pink colour.  Today we walked the 6 mile Lamberhurst Walk except we made a few wrong turns and reckon we did more like 8 miles. There are 20,059 steps on the pedometer.  In extra photos are views of Lamberhurst vineyard home of fine English wine and a beautiful lost Kent pub - 18C listed building Horse & Groom Cottage which was a pub until 2002.
