Another day at Cranbrook Road level crossing on the KESR, signalling trains across the road. The 8 hours on duty always seem to fly by; bit of reading, bit of food, bit of a snooze, open gates watch trains across, close gates and repeat throughout the day. Weather was particularly unkind for June, not wet but grey, cold and windy. Considered having the electric fire on in the crossing keeper's hut.
