Slow News Day

After lunch MM and I headed down F.C. Road and stumbled across a few interesting shops. I'm perfectly happy for shop keepers to show us scroll and scroll or scarf after scarf, esp. when I have no intention of buying anything. It's fun to talk to them and learn a little about the pieces. I was taking a photo of their large stone sculptures and the shop assistant gestured that he'd take one of me. Too bad I can't bring this home for yard art.

Yesterday Prashant had a lovely line about being "IN-dependent." He said that we have to be dependent upon something INside us, not on the externals. Today he talked about how instructions prepare us for yoga asana, but the deeper work of being responsive to breath, body, mind, etc., prepares us for yog (union) and life. I think he's on to something.
