Gracious living

We spent last night in Cote Rempart, a B&B in the historic quarter of Beaune.  This is the lounge/dinning room where we shared a tasty breakfast with 2 Australians and a Finnish family who presently live in Germany.  It is run by two female friends who have excellent taste in furnishings.  I would stay there if vising Beaune again.
The second blip is from the countryside between Beaune and Reims. Driving through such productive landscapes you can see how France may be self-sufficient in food; mile after mile of fields of crops.
