High On A Hill

This shows the pretty town of Gordes in the Vaucluse departement, Provence France. It clings to the hillside 373 metres up looking over the nearby hills and villages. 
We upset a waiter in one restaurant at lunchtime by only having a beer and not ordering food. It was expensive and pretentious, featuring such things as Scottish salmon and Thai salad. Tasty as those things are they're not very Provençal. We went down the road and had a plate of Charcuterie instead for half the price.Beautiful weather has been restored today after the storms of yesterday.
Going to Roussillon tomorrow.
