Prom

Well thank goodness the day has arrived and we can expel all that nervous energy that my girl has been building up.

This morning the tan was all wrong as she scrubbed and scrubbed. It was of course absolutely fine. Then her phone broke - completely. Then my camera really threw a wobbler. Thankfully Scarlett, newly returned, was on hand to lend her camera.

So as Missy strutted about worrying over this and that, I practiced with a new camera.

The girls were so very excitable this evening and could barely stay still. They all looked so grown up, so confident, and so mature. The girls are a splendid bunch, so supportive of each other and yet full of fun and nonsense. My girl is very lucky to have such wonderful friends.

And of course whilst they all look incredible, there is only one who shines out - my girl - my beautiful young woman. So very proud tonight baby. Go have fun and make this the night of many memories. x
