~Early Morning Skyline~

~Sunrise Over Mount Lemmon~

I had to get up early this morning, had lots to accomplish today.
Went to bed about 2 a.m. and woke at 5:30, not very pleased.
Kept my eyes closed and listened to the music on the radio.
Trying to convince myself that it's very healthy to rise early.
Managed to open one eye, a painful experience in its own right.
I must really be in bad shape, the whole room is bathed in color.
Am I still alive, did I pass on in the night, I hope am I in heaven.
Oh oh! It seem to be a little too red and orange to be heaven.
Instantly my other eye flies open, in an attempt to grasp reality.
Guess I am still alive, that glow must be the morning sunrise.
Oh my God, where is my camera, as I trip over little Rio, yelp!
Better find my pants, I sure don't want to embarrass myself.
I laugh at my own cleverness, embarrass/ bare ass, I am funny!
A gorgeous sunrise, we're famous for our sunsets, not sunrises.
Glad I woke up early to witness this display of nature's wonder.
When you see a sky like this, you know it's going to be a good day!!!
