Goldcrest...

...Ta da!

(Behind all the pine foliage).

These little birds move so quickly.
This was not a planned shot, but a lucky snap. I was in the bushes and heard what I thought was a goldcrest 'cheep'. Looked up and here it was.

Actually...
I realise I say, 'I was in the bushes', quite a lot.
To clarify; I don't as a matter of course lie around in there, doing the crossword, drinking tea and generally loafing.
I just nip out from time to time, to see what's out there from a blip perspective.
It takes a few minutes a day.. That's all. Honestly.

Today was a Very Quick Nip, I'm busy, having been away for a few days I'm catching up.

There's chickenpox around in our sphere.
Hmm.
I've had it twice (I know that's unusual). Once as a child and once as a grown-up. The grown-up time was Not Fun. I was in a constant delerious scary nightmare state and thought it was up to me to save the world.
(A task at which I was failing increasingly, what with feeling a bit off my perch and everything. I'd have managed, obviously, had I been well).
High temperatures eh?
