Gruffalo case
Sorry for the late/missed blips. It's been a hectic few days with work and the like. I normally never let my blip slip but was honestly just too exhausted to write it. Been struggling with my hormones again (on top of everything else).
Got so frustrated with it this last week that I made an appointment with a specialist on Harley St then chanced upon a book she'd written (thank you Next Day Delivery at Amazon) so swiftly cancelled the very expensive consultation and spent the past few days devouring that instead. Coupled with a few vitamin deficiencies I know I have, I am hopeful I might have been able to self-diagnose and medicate a few solutions. Here's hoping anyway!
Yesterday after a tense morning packing and finishing emails, we hit the road for a road trip weekend to Winchester. Sat Nav said 3 hours 45 which we knew was pretty unlikely on a Friday with a route that involved the quite frankly broken M6. As we joined the Southbound M6 we saw an awful accident on the other side of the carriageway with 5 lorries and lots of cars sent flying. Really made us feel unnerved. People just going about their day and then that happens. Truly awful.
Drove really slowly after that and with a few breaks we landed in Winchester just after 4pm. Took Squidge out to let Angus sleep off the drive in the hotel room. We shopped together and chatted away, she's really turning into a little girl now and I get the feeling she might enjoy shopping as much as her Mummy!
We all dressed up for dinner and had an Italian. She was so well behaved and made me feel so proud in front of the other diners.
Early nights all round. Squidge in a travel cot in the bathroom (usual hotel MO!)
Blip pic is the only one I took yesterday - her little Gruffalo suitcase. It's first roadtrip.
