Soul mate

God I miss this girl. I haven't seen her in so long and it's only when I do see her that I realise how much that hurts. Our lives, children and not to mention motorways get in the way but I love her so much. Within seconds of meeting up, however long it has been, we are back in our old familiar ways.

Today was magical. A day spent at their new family cottage just hanging out in the sunshine eating (boy we ate so much) and catching up and playing with our little ones in the garden. Squidge loved the sandpits and tractors - made a difference to her normal play dates and I loved getting to spend time with my missing soul mate.
