Summer Exhibition

The Royal Academy was never like this in the olden days.  They have done quite a re-vamp for this year's Summer Exhibition.  It's had quite a make over in the rooms, as well as on this very sixties approach......

There's a dramatic sculpture in the courtyard that is having work done, too, because it had been "clipped by a high sided vehicle" (white van man?)

I loved this year's exhibition.  I've used my extra photos to show you my favourite, Elise Ansel's "Feast of the Gods II, after Bellini and Titian".  There's a Tracy Emin "badger" and the wonderful tapestry by Grayson Perry, "Julie and Rob".

It's worth it if you get the chance to go.
