Preening....

the osprey flew off the nest and had a preening session in the tree that is it's usual roost.
A good day, as after swimming and cutting the grass, had a quick outing and found, not only the osprey but the field full of Butterfly Orchids and a flutter of Small Pearl Bordered Fritillaries alongside the burn.
