Farewell to our friends

Thank you for the kind comments on last night's dancing photos. It was incredible to see how well they all danced considering they only started 10 weeks ago and had A level exams in between that. They hopefully have raised a healthy amount for their chosen charities too. I forgot to mention how entertaining Chris Hollins was - he was one of the judges and announced the final winner, and gave the boys a bit of chat....he kept teasing Adam about his rather tight trousers! I also did wonder if they would split before the evening was over....

Today we said goodbye to our lovely visitors, Robyn and Matt, who can be seen in this photo. They are spending a few more days in London with family before Robyn goes to France and Matt goes to play football at tournaments in Denmark and Sweden. It was lovely having them to stay, and I hope we see them again sooner rather than later.

It has been a very busy week and I am not quite on top of things...I now have to catch up on the ironing and am also busy trying to water the garden before it all dies off from the drought.
