Busy as a bee
It has been rather busy lately - at the end of summer term and as the summer holidays approach, things tend to get very busy. It seems to be the same as we near Christmas. We go through this twice a year, but as someone once remarked, in the southern hemisphere they have their summer holidays and Christmas all rolled into one so it is one big busy period unlike us northern hemisphere people who have two such busy periods.
I am looking forward to hearing the Leaver's Concert tonight. Adam says he is prepared and looking forward to it too, so that must mean he is relaxed and not nervous. I did want to get a photo of him playing tonight as my blip but then I thought if I took photos of him it would only be distracting for him, so I rather not.
I have been busy preparing food for the final day of term tomorrow...chapel service at 10am, followed by prize giving at 11am, then the parents picnic around the cricket pitch and watch the 1st team play a team of old boys. The picnic is great fun and I have made chicken coronation which is quite easy to serve and eat and will have salads and a cheesecake too....and bubbly of course, to mark the occasion of Adam leaving school forever.
