to be Tender and True

This beauty is my final parsnip from last year.  Rather than lifting it last winter, I simply left it in the ground. It has now formed these amazing  seed heads that are presently being worked by the bees.

Within another month or so all the seeds will be set and I will have the wherewithal to create several thousand new parsnips next year.

Tender and True is the name of the variety.  It is a good name that accurately describes the produce..
