Lonely tree

A really good productive day getting things done in the garden. The little olive bush my cousin gave me finally planted out, some clematis planted on the side of the garage, roses dead-headed and lots of bedding plants planted in the front. Phew! A little damp and drizzly but us Brits laugh in the face of rain...

Decided not to follow the June challenge today (which was 'snacks') and went out to do some landscape instead. This tree was set so well in the middle of the fields with great tractor lines framing it. I'll definitely have to go back once the corn has turned golden later in the summer.
