Golf!

What a luxury this morning. It was raining, but we had no dog to take out! Brilliant. A loooong lie in was the order of the day, followed by some morning tennis, while plans to go to see the new Escher exhibition were postponed.

We picked Archie up in the afternoon after his successful sleepover. We then had a wander down to the Meadows, as there appeared to be something exciting going on - tents, music, throngs of colourful people. Turns out it wasn't that exciting. It was golf. Loads of little games to get kids interested in playing. The nineteenth hole was very busy!

Found a tennis ball and we played Archie's version of Fetch? No way! He runs enthusiastically after the ball, and will then stand with it until you come to pick it up. Not ideal, but seems to work all right.

Archie has slept non stop since he came home. He'll get no rest tomorrow. He goes to visit Bailey. Such a social life he has!
