Careless Memories

34 years ago today I went to my first ever gig. Duran Duran, at Newcastle city hall. I was a child Duranie and it was a dream come true. We were five or six rows back - I went it's my sister who is six years older than me. After the gig we waited behind and showed the security guys some letters we had received from the band after we had written fan mail to them. This was before they were very huge (they'd had two singles at the time) so they were still answering individual letters by hand! Security let us in with some other fans and we got to meet all the boys. John was my favourite and so this page of the tour programme is the best one in a very treasured possession.
