A perch at Dusk in Monikie

A lovely warm day

In the morning, I led the worship service and we had a guest speaker to preach. Like me, he is a retired Pastor and afterwards we had lunch at ours with him and his wife.

In the evening, Eleanor and I went to Monikie Country Park for a walk/scooter round the reservoir and then a picnic Tea. I did like the birds finding a perch for the evening. It was very calm and they may well have slept there!

After the excitement of the first week at Wimbledon, battle is rejoined on Monday - hopefully Andy will make it to the Final.
