Swimming ? No thanks

Woke up the heavy rain and wind. Looked out of the window and decided that I wasn’t doing the 5K swim around Buttermere lake today. Packed the car and got ready to come home. Shame as its been a nice weekend. The swim plan changed and they were planning on doing a shorter lap of Buttermere. Went down to see them off. Looking at the white horses on the lake we made the right decision. Didn’t look like it was going to be a fun swim

Stopped off at the Honister mine at the top of the Honister pass to see if they had a butter knife. J’s search continues. Got back and spent the rest of the afternoon sorting stuff out and doing a bit of a shop. Went to bed early feeling knackered.
