Woke up late to find the SF hadn't left yet. Turns out there was a big queue to get the hire car at the station, as it’s the first day of the school holidays. They left to go exploring up north just before noon. CB and her husband are coming over for dinner tonight so I headed out to have a look at possible bike replacements. Did most of the shops in Edinburgh. Looked at some nice bikes and then looked at the finances, so looked a bit harder.
Went to the butcher in Stockbridge for some sausages for tea, goat ones with Morocan spices.
RD stopped by on his way back from photographing the film festival and ended up staying for tea. CB, MB and Rjukan arrived for dinner. Nice night chatting, eating and drinking as the jet lag is still in full swing.
