Blue Skies Return

Today's orienteering took us back to Rauland using different terrain. The courses had long legs across slopes which is always a challenge.

The weather despite a strong breeze was a significant improvement from yesterday. The arena was shared between the JWOC (Junior World Orienteering Championships) and the 5 day Norway Tour. It meant we could join in with the excitement of the finals of the junior races on the big screen.

This barn was a good point of reference for people returning from their runs and trying to find their belongings. In the background it is noticeable how much snow is lingering on the hillsides.

Everyone seems to be improving through the week as they get used to the terrain.

Tomorrow is a rest day so some exploring is on the cards.
