Surveying the scene

I had a relaxed chance to spot birds today as it was Day One of the Ashes and I was not going to move from the TV except for emergencies. I have to confess that I get really excited and nervous when an Ashes series starts and struggled to focus on much else. It's been a great day so far and the series is underway.

I did get a few pics but this one was by far the sharpest! Is it just a sparrow?
