Raisin' Paets

It's been a fairly sunny day but there has been a few showers too.  It's also been a bit warmer :)

The finer day meant it's been quieter in the museum.  I've been on the museum desk all day today and we've had a art session in for the Shetland Nature Festival.
I got out into the garden after tea for weeding.  Niece Elise popped down to see me and we headed out to the peat hill for a run with mam.  Me and Elise walked most of the way back to my sister Laura's and been along her for a cuppa.

Mam was heading to the peat hill to raise some of her peats.  Not been much of a summer so far for the drying of them but they are getting there slowly.  These are machine cut peat and luckily are not all mam's :)  Taken at the Nort Peat Hill, Cunningsburgh.
