Blowin' in the wind ...

These pampas grasses grow, rather randomly, beside the gate of Toward Castle grounds - you can see the red sandstone of the walls behind them. Today there was quite a breeze off the sea, and they were tossing wildly like so many horses' manes, so I'm delighted that I managed to capture one in a moment of relative repose. For this, I'm grateful to Mr PB, who held the stem just below shot; the other grasses remain wild and blurry as well as beyond focus.
