At the Feeder
A big thank you to all those who told me about 'spot metering' when I wondered how to photograph the birds at the feeder when the background was much brighter than the birds. I tried it and it works like a charm. Another string to my bow as the saying goes.
The usual group of bossy greenfinches and sparrows. It was a while before the greenfinch would let any one else in, but eventually after much lunging and chasing, he was overwhelmed by sheer numbers and gave up.
It has poured with rain all day and cold with it. I seem to have been on the phone all day and have got very little done. So much for good intentions.
