Saturday with the Minions

The grandchildren were wide awake at 6am.  I tried to persuade them to go back to bed and read until 7, but they construed this as being an invitation to pile into bed with me, and read aloud!

After breakfast, a DVD allowed me time to shower etc., and do a bit of tidying up.  Phoned my sister to see if she wanted to meet us for lunch, but she was doing a sponsored walk.

Into town, bit of lunch, round the Charity shops with their pocket money, and then off to the movies to see The Minions. 

After, as we trudged (tiredly) back to the car, we met the tallest nephew who was in Perth for a band practice. 

We are waiting on tea cooking now, then down to the park for a bit so the dog can have a walk, and then it is going to be a very early bed indeed!
