Never too old to rock!!

We started the day with a visit from the couple who are buying our old house, so that we could share information. We did this with the people we bought our new house from and it was most useful.

It was then “time out” as we drove over to Newmarket for the Friday evening meeting and Live Music Night with Status Quo!!!

This is only the second time we have been to the races. We did the same event 6 years ago, just before R & P got married. On that visit I won £1,000’s worth of entertainment equipment in the draw!!

On this visit there were 7 races and I picked the following: the 1st, 2nd, 1st, 4th, 1st, 5th and in the final race a 2nd!!!!

Now before you get excited and suggest drinks all round, I didn’t actually bet on any of them, but it was all good fun :0)

To get to the main point of attending, Status Quo!! A great night was enjoyed by all. The weather was beautiful all afternoon, but the temperature dropped as it got dark. But, the audience certainly wasn’t cold with all the singing, dancing and generally jigging about. I must admit that it took until the end and “Rockin all over the world” to get the majority of men moving!! The ladies had joined in from the start!!
