The Living Years

Perfect Procrastination

Tiger Tiger, burning bright.

Another blip straight off the camera.... Yay me!

After being wracked with nerves last night 10c's oral exams went really well today. My mark average was below a colleagues, who was more than happy to point it out to me but now I realise I don't care.

Two students pulled it out of the bag.
One over the last 2 years has gone from a very shy boy to one with much more confidence but I was nervous that in an exam situation with not only me but a colleague he would regress. He also pulled it out of the bag.
One student who I swore was going to fail after some hard work together passed.

The students I thought were going to shine, shined and some shined even brighter than I predicted.

So who cares if we were 0.something below the German class. After 2 years together they all did me very proud today. I got a bit emotional.

The exams took about 4.5 hours and then we had to hang around for the results ceremony. Boring! Especially as I had left my work at home so had nothing to do.

At home I've been tackling the mountain of work I have to do. I swear I'm not going to bed until it's finished. It's still warm even though it rained all day but this evening going outside to take photos of the sunset in various stages made for some perfect procrastination. The dark clouds are rain clouds.
