Good news day

Turns out it's a bit odd what passes for good news around here. Jackson has been suffering with stomach pains and sickness for the last two days. This evening he developed a temperature which made us cheer. Carl practically whooped when he FaceTimed in from his trip to Boston. It feels like a normal thing that people get and not something we're supposed to worry about. I suspect his immune system is a little weakened so perhaps all that exposure to real people left him vulnerable to random germs. Dosed up with calpol and it is already starting to come down. Hopefully another good sleep will help.

In more conventional good news Anna passed her Double Bass exam.

And her reckless non weighing or measuring (shudder) approach to making pancakes proved successful too.

In between all this Anna and I spent lots of lovely time with friends and we made significant progress on Albi's hoop jumping.
