It began so well

Manchester for a few sherberts for the leaving do of some dear colleagues (one of whom is pulling a face behind me!).

You know an evening is going to descend rapidly when the first bar has 2 for 1 on cocktails...and within an hour they have run out of the booze needed to make the cocktails we all wanted.

We trawled a couple of different places.  I laughed so hard that I hurt.

It was a glorious night, if not bitter sweet at the departure of Catherine, Patrick and Peter.  I really will miss you very much.
