Pale and interesting

This hydrangea starts the season this lovely pale green. As it matures it turns pink, and I'm sure it will be the subject of a blip later on.
Another lunch out today. We went with friends to a newly refurbished pub that has turned into a large smart "gastro-pub". This is near where I grew up, and in those days it was a little pub that we used to frequent at the end of a walk or cycle ride. Now everybody comes by car and they are catered for by a huge new car park. It was a good lunch today, and we will be back.
