Glorious sunset over the River Wye

This was our view in the evening - it is much better viewed large.
The comparison between today and yesterday was amazing. It reminded me of that old song "Hello Mother, Hello Father". The lyrics finished something like "Wait a minute, it's stopped raining. Guys are swimming, guys are sailing. Playing baseball. Gee, that's better. Mother, Father, kindly disregard this letter."
We had a fabulous walk from the little town of Talgarth, through a nature reserve called Pwll-y-Wrach, to some beautiful waterfalls. It was rather slippy underfoot with all the rain from yesterday, but we had a great, if mud-spattered, day. The walk took us through some woodland beneath the escarpment of the Black Mountains. My "extra" shows the last waterfall we came to. Spot the Blipper.
There is also the "Witches' Pool" which legend has it was where local witches were lowered into to determine whether they were guilty or innocent. Luckily I didn't fall in, so you'll never know whether I'm a witch or not. (No comments please LooseCanon or Technophobe.)
We spotted our first ripe blackberries of the year on our way back down to Talgarth. C ate them.
