St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican Gardens

We started our five hour walking tour at 08:15 - just us two and a guide!    We climbed up to the top of St Peters Basilica, very hot, very humid but not so many people which was good!  After about and hour and a half we went off and toured the beautiful gardens of the Vatican Garden, the views were stunning.  After the gardens, we visited the Sistine Chapel and various rooms.  We have walked 5.5miles!  Back now at the hotel for a little rest, quick catch up with some work email and then we will be getting ready for dinner out at a local restaurant.
